Low Carb Maha Blanca | Perfect for this coming Christmas! So yum!


Low-carb Version of Maja Blanca


Here’s my low-carb version of Maja Blanca that maintains the creamy goodness while being keto-friendly! Perfect dessert for this coming buena noche Christmas!

Ingredients:

1 can of 400ml coconut milk 
1 250ml of all-purpose cream
1 tbsp of unsalted butter
8-10 sticks of sugar alternative ( I used Splenda Stevia)
1/2 tbsp of parmesan cheese (optional)
vanilla extract
1/2 cheese - 1/4 dice cheese and 1/4 grated for toppings ( I used quick melt cheese)
1 sachet of unflavored gelatine (Knox)

Procedure:

* Mix the Base
Combine coconut milk, APC, stevia, parmesan, vanilla, and gelatine in a pot. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until well dissolved.
* Thicken the Mixture:
Gradually whisk in the butter. Add diced cheese, and continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
* Transfer and Chill:
Pour the mixture into a pan. Let it cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 2 hours or until set.
* Top and Serve:
Sprinkle grated cheese, toasted coconut flakes, or nuts on top. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
